Default Line-out left-channel problem

X5L30G.

Already contacted Cowon about this and got an RMA number.

After about 4 mos. the left-channel on the line-out has dissapeared. Strangely, instead of audio on the left-channel, I'm getting large amounts of hard-drive noise. At first I thought it was the car-charger/transmitter, but I confirmed the same problem with the cradle/line-line out hooked up to my home stereo.

Headphone-out works fine.

could it be the cradle that's causing the problem? Have you tried the subpack?

The problem first started with the FM transmitter. It's also present with the cradle, so it's confirmed. I haven't tried the subpack, but I'm 100% sure it would also be present there.
