Menus and text flickering on TV (movies fine)

I just got an A2, and I'm really excited about it.

However, when I plugged it into my TV, the menus were flickering. I then started a movie, and the movie picture itself looked fine, but the subtitles were flickering too, making them very distracting!

Does anyone know what might be causing this, and if there is a fix? I tried a search, but didn't find anyone with similar problems.

(I'm using firmware 1.77.)

I suggest you chek to see if all of the cables are plugged in all the way- on the tv and A2. If this fails then upgrade to the new Firmware 1.81.

Also, you can check 'TV Standard' in Setup > Display > General .
