Default camera

i didnt get a response before when i posted this, so i thought id try again; i realise the buttons may not work on this, but would the camera itself work with an a2? http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...389221-9991957
i was hopin the buttons on it would function like when u use an extension with a remote on it for the wrong player; the extension still would work even if the remote buttons don't; ex. using a sony extension cord remote on an a2; still hear music, but non functioning buttons

Just get a wisecomm color camera.. it's 1/6th the price, and it does infrared with 8 Infrared LEDS, built in mic, 100ft of cable. 141 pounds for that is frickin stupid.

No, it has a proprietary connection that only will fit into the AV500. I have one. Maybe if you are advanced, (and rich) you could try some splicing, but I don't know how far that would get you. The end of the jack looks something like this:

You get the idea.. The middle long piece is like a headphone jack, and then there are two data connectors, and then, ,(not shown) there is another cord that extends off of this that connects into another port further down on the AV500.
