Default irivertier

heyt i'm using iriverter and it is converting 10 out of 11 and it gets up to 7/8 done number 10 and it freezes... what gives? how do i fxi this?
i tried doing it by file too (the one it was stuck on ) and it doesn't do anything.

so its getting stuck on the same file each time and otherwise its fine? it sounds like the file is either a noncompatible format or somehow corrupt. what kind of file is it?

The particular file is probably unconvertable via iRiverter. I have come across a 1 or 2 files that iRiverter will crash when trying to convert. The only thing I can say is try another converter. My recommendation is MediaCoder. It's free and it converted the files iRiverter crashed on with me. Once you've installed it, load my preset file (File > Load Preset) that loads the settings you need to convert X5-compatible video. You can always adjust the settings if you want to under the appropriate tabs in MediaCoder. Good luck!

it is a dvd file... i'm not sure the exact name atm. but i ripped a dvd VIdeo-TS style etc. and it's like 2_0 or some such ... it's near the end of the movie.

yeah, i'd suggest you to try the mediacoder settings given above or take a look at Virtual Dub Mod, i've always had good results from that.
