No, it does not protect the screen... on top of that, it close itself very badly (I don't know how to say it ... "emboîter" in french). I have one and I am very disappointed with that, it's useless for me ...

Can you go into more detail on why? I was going to buy it along with my invisibleSHIELD. I'd like to hear your opinion about it.

I thought this case covered the screen when I bought it... It's my fault, I should have to verify this point. But this plastic is very cheap, I think it cannot protect my A2 correctly. In comparison, plastic of a CD case seems more solid !

1) screen not covered
2) bad protection (plastic too cheap)

What's the interest ? I prefer the original leather case ...

If someone can confirm or explain that I'm crazy

Thanks for your input. I thought the plastic would be harder.
Wel, that's some euros saved then :-)

Did anyone see the other clear case that iaudio has for the A2. It’s called “zCover Stage for COWON A2 - Ice Clear” It is very hard to see if it covers the screen or not but it looks good. It cost $5 more than the other clear case you are talking about. Has anyone gotten this other case and what do you think of it? It seems to be less bulky and fits tighter. I like how it has gripping features around it. Here is where I found it from the iaudio America site. http://onlinestore.cowonamerica.com/...ROD&ProdID=222

there is a hard flap that flips over the screen an vlecro to to back. It has a velvety material that rest on the screen so it does not scratch. I think it works well. It also has a nice IMO.

It is interesting. I will be posting pictures of the applying process tomorrow, together with some basic instructions.

I'll be grateful I will buy A2 very soon but I'd like to know if Invisible Shield is so superb as I read... If so I will buy it, cos I don't want any scratch on A2

What do you use to clean off the A2 before applying the IS? I ordered one, but have some hairs on the screen and some fingerprints smudges. Also, does the IS have the same issues with plastics that the BSEs have (the plastic will stick to and ruin the BSE)?

I cleaned it with a simple cloth. I have one to clean my guitar, that's what I used.
I don't understand your question about the plastics. I does stick to itself, but that doesn't matter much, and it attaches itself very good to the A2, especially the screen.
I had some problems putting it on the A2, had to try several times, and it isn't how I want it to be yet.
I managed to get a little scratch on the inside of the screen protector. I guess the sticky side isn't as protective as the outside, 'cause there's is nothing on the outside. I emailed shieldzone and they will send me a replacement right away. Very nice people, good support, I like that and it's worth a premium.
It's very tough material, you can stretch it a lot and you just feel that it isn't a toy. I'm just one of those people who has trouble applying it.
I'll tell more tomorrow, it's easier with pics.
