boundary play mode

I can't find answer in G3 manual. What do the boundary play option letters stand for, and how are they used? P,F,A,1? Help!

I was wondring the same thing, but its default is on A, so im just going to leave it like that untill someone can tell me what it all means. Hey, when you are uploading music on your player, what kind of format do you use. Are you using the regular, or do you upload with VBR, and also what bitrate do you normally use? I have experminented with different levels but cant tell much difference.

Iknow A stands for "all" and the unit will play all music folders one after another- and F stands for folder and will only play the contents of the selected folder. I'm not sure what the other letters stand for as the u2 manual sucks too!! (only 36 pages in english!!)

P stands for dynamic playlist i think.....dont have a clue if the G3 has this playlist but the m3 does. it plays your D playlist...once again i aint sure if the G3 has this

Read the manual that comes with the CD included with your G3- it does a good job of explaining.

Boundaries - basically has to do with whether you wish to play within a specific album folder (only) ; or skip to other folders.

I.e. - say you want to listen to Ozzy in folder one and not skip to U2 in folder 2. Or alternatively, you want to skip to all your music folders.

It becomes very clear once you've organized your music by album/folder. Again, the owners manual is pretty clear on this - IMHO.

The Boundaries are:
1 = play one track and stop
A = play all tracks and stop
F = play all tracks in current folder and stop
P = play all tracks in playlist and stop
shuffle and repeat play can be applied to any of these.
