Default Linux and Sound Juicer - and FLAC

I have Sound Juicer as my ripper on Linux, version 0.6.0. It rips to FLAC, but it doesn't say at which compression setting. The settings for flac go from 0 (bigger file) to 8 (best compression), and iAudio X5 can handle flac files at settings 0,1,2 in general, from what I read. But will Sound Juicer rip at one of those three settings as default?

If you update the X5 firmware it supports all FLAC compression levels. If you're using Linux, you're better of using Grip as a ripper as it is more customisable. Soundjuicer's a bit crap as it's not very configurable.

I agree! Using Grip myself, and it's great!
