Default Best EQ setting for X5?

What is the best EQ setting? I listen to mostly pop, rock. I use KSC-75. I don't like too much bass. How much BBE should I use? Thanks.

i remember in my old iRiver there was a Metal preset which brought out the sound the best and i still havent been able to tune the x5 to the sfx that preset brought out.
I use either Rock, Normal or User with more treble than bass

I think that really depends on what type of music you listen to. I listen to old punk and underground hip hop, and I have all bass maxed out. I also think it depends on what kind of headphones you are wearing.

I don't believe there is a best EQ setting. Everybody likes different settings. Just play around with them until you find what sounds best to you.

Turn off the EQ and save battery life.

i find BBE to be best at a low setting like 2 or 3.

however this is all subjective and also dependant on the music u listen too.

that being said, ido find that BBE 'opens' up the music in a good way at that low setting.

I think the EQ settings are highly dependant on the headphones you use as well.

IMO, turning off the EQ provides the best sound quality.

BBE- 4 MP- On Mach3Bass- 4 EQ- Rock

If you averaged up all my music to get an EQ setting, that would be it.
