iuAdio U3 - what kbps rates available for recording?

I checked the web and downloaded the manual but the docs for the U3 do not specify the available recording rates for Line-In Recording.

How high can you go?

The manual shows "up to 320 kbps" for *playback* but does not state the recording settings you can choose. The pictures in the manual show rates as high as 128 kbps, but again I find no list of the possible range of settings?

Can anyone let me know? This matters because I am looking for a high quality player that can serve as a recorder as well, and I do not wish to be held under the 128 kbps limit many players impose.
