As I said: on LOW impedance phones (usually this means GOOD portable phones) you hear clicks with the remote...

(chuckle) You realize you just responded to a post made in December?

If Undertow's still around and reading this...like ekso said, there's no wireless remote for the X5, but it's certainly easy enough to buy wireless headphones that could be used with the X5.

Off-topic: Has anyone used the logitech wireless headphones wiht the iPod controls? To me, it sems that it would have bad quality since it's only $100, but it has an interface with the ipod and runs on a rechargeable battery.

those logitechs for the ipod arent made for the v5, theyre made for the v4 so the sq wouldnt be as good right off the bat, plus i was thinking about getting those (not the ipod ones) and the reviews were very good except for some distortion at high volumes. So even if the logitechs did have good sound quality the ipod wouldnt produce the sound that you would want, so it does weight it down.

If I could get a spare remote plug I could do a wireless remote no problem... would be great to control X5 from across the room when plugged into sound system - so far no joy on finding the plugs

OR you could buy a stereo with a a USB port. I saw one on froogle for around $90. You can control your msuic from across the room using the stereo's remote. It works with any UMS device(i.e. flash drives, X5, etc.).

I know soembody who ahs an ipod with the wireless logitechs. He got the iPod version(for obvious reasons). It still allows you to attach it to other players with 3.5mmm jacks. He said it was also cheaper than the non-iPod version. If that is true, that makes no sense.

Saho, what do you mean by v4 and v5?

OK, I'll respond to an old thread too. Any change the remote connector is compatible with other brands? I've definately seen that kind of connector on some CD players before.
