hi everybody
does anyone know a file converter aac(=m4a) to ogg vorbis?
i had an ipod before my x5l and somehow apple managed to convince me of their shitty audioformat aac. i want to rip them to ogg vorbis now, but going over mp3 would be a huge loss of quality, i guess. so please help me out

AAC is also a lossy audio format, so you're losing quality anyway. I don't think it'll be an improvement whatsoever... You'll have to rip your CD's again I'm afraid if you want audio quality..

www.dbpoweramp.com should be able to convert it, as long as you download and install those specific codecs in it.

But as others mentioned, going from one lossy format to another is just going to make the end result sound even worse.
