Default iAudio X5L Battery and RMA?

I'm sending in my X5L 30GB for RMA because the screen is broken and the joystick is wonky.

I'm just starting to notice that after 3-4 hours of playing MP3's that are Extreme VBR with LAME ripped with cDex the battery goes down a quarter-half.

This is in no way normal is it?

This is an X5L with a supposed battery life of 35 hours.

While I know there are a lot of variables regarding the battery life with normal use, it seems that for the battery to be half dead at 4 hours is a bit extreme.

Are issues like this covered under RMA?

The indicator means nothing. Absolutely nothing. By the way, if the screen is broken how can you see the battery indicator?

You can see half of the screen, the other half is lines and blank white.

Its just an "indicator". Does the screen stay on all the time since it is broken? If so, thats your problem.

No it doesn't.

It was like that before the screen broke too.
