Ok i uploaded a random selection of wallpaper size jpgs 160 x 128, but a third of them say file 'not support' and wont show up. As far as i can tell, there is no diff between the jpg files do that show up and those that won't open. Anyone else have this same problem. It's def not a file size issue since the ones that wont open are under 10K.
Any insights would be helpful. THanks. Ed |

Actually you do not have to adjust the size to 160 x 128, but i also got the same error and i boiled it down to a few images and i think if the height is more than the width it will not show. So hopefully if anyone else knows how to fix this problem it would be nice.

No i've had pics higher than they are wide and no problem displaying them. The fact that certain jpgs wont open seems to be totally arbitrary and i can't figure out what it is...

There are several formats for saving JPEGs. The X5 will only display standard. You might have some other format - progressive is common and won't display.

Actually they will work if you use 'Save for Web' option, you just have to uncheck the 'Progressive' option checkbox. It's usually checked ON by default.
