I thank Apple for releasing video iPods at such gr8 prices :notworthy

amp3.co.uk and mp3players.co.uk have lowered X5 prices dramtically

X5 20gb: £210
X5L 20gb: £230
X5 30gb: £240
X5L 30gb: £255

Now this has really helped the iaudio against the iPod in my eyes

Amazon.de has great prices at the moment for the X5, it's the cheapest option to get it in Germany/Austria/Switzerland as far as I know...

@dfkt
Amazon.de's prices for the X5's aren't the cheapest as you stated. Not bad prices at all, but by far not the best ones in german-speaking part of Europe. But if you consider amazon's free shipping the prices are slightly better than international shipping with other shops.

I'd love to have some confirmation on Misco's price, i've been holding back until the drm firmware update came but will prob go for it now.

I think I'll email misco asking about it to make sure I don't end up wasting my money lol. I definantly want the L version not sure which size to go for though, 20 or 30gb. is it worth the difference in price for the extra 10gb capacity?

EDIT: Also does these Uk Websites supply the correct plugs for use straightaway? Just read a few old topics with some issues about that.

Where did you find it cheaper (incl. shipping)?
I didn't find anything better in http://geizhals.at ... and I don't do eBay.

For the Netherlands:

www.mp3man.nl
www.mp3spelers.nl
www.mp3.mmport.nl
www.mp3.direqt.nl

And I saw the X5 at the Media Markt as well..

Prices are pretty much the same everywhere, give or take 10 euro's... just take a look at the sites for current prices and package deals.
Also, check this place: http://www.tweakers.net/pricewatch/?Query=iaudio+x5
They keep track of the prices for you...but not all stores are included! (for example, the X5L 30GB shows up here for 401 euro, while you can get it for 389 at mp3man.nl and mp3.direqt.nl)

Hope this helps the Dutchies over here...

eCost.com starts shipping the 60 gigger tomorrow (October 25), or at least that's what customer service told me, and they ship to Canada so maybe order from them *shrugs*.

Misco have it for £280.00..
http://misco.co.uk/productinformatio...2FLONGPLAY.htm

Also they have just put up there prices on the 20 & 30GB products glad I got mine early!

My question would be though is this price increase through pressure from the other resellers to get them to raise their prices as all other manufacturers seem to be getting more aggressive not more expensive!
