Default New X5....Old Ipod

Hi everyone,

I have been reading all your posts and finally decided on the 30gb x5L coming this week from newegg.
My question, I have an Ipod with loads of Itunes music. I know about burning CDs and then reripping them to be able to play them in the proper formats, but is there another way?
I want to be able to use the Itunes music on the new player without using the create CD - rerip method.......any ideas of good programs that can do that?

Thanks a lot

By iTunes music, do you mean you have music, which you have imported into iTunes yourself (which file format then?) or which you have purchased in the iTunes Music Store?
For music which you bought in the music store, visit www.hymn-project.org
There you can get a program with which you can convert your iTunes music directly into Mp3.
You can use this program also, if you have imported your own music in aac-format, to convert them to mp3 as well.
But be beware, that converting from one lossy format to the other will make the quality worse. But this way it saves you a lot of work!
