Wake up Cowon it's 2013 not 2008, their going nowhere fast. This company is lacking vision and innovation, stop releasing rehash products.

A 7" display with a 800x480 resolution...is there no other way to push the battery lifetime?

I would love a device with a higher resolution (or a lower display diagonal) combined with an OS like KDE plasma active.
The overall design looks "ascetic" but I would rather reward a bit of creativity concerning the operating system and/or the technical specs...

Thank you, Cowon. You were my personal #1 in terms of portable sound for years, but in year of 2013 I choose to move forward, not backward with your "new, speedy and stunning" hardware. I'm afraid I will never back to your new players from now. Though I still have a warm, fond memories for my X5, X9, Q5 and even Z2 experience. And will remember them forever, cleaning dust from their cases on my shelf from time to time, even listen to them occasionaly.
But anything you've left for me is just nostalgie. While everything must flow and evolve.
Recently I'm switched to the lossless portable Hi-End with ColorFly C4 Pro and planning to buy iBasso DX100 & new HiFiMan 901 (when it will be released).

Even the most low-end chinese ebay tablets are usually cortex 9 dual-core these days.
I don't know why Cowon even bothers with this pos.
Seems battery life is everything they aim for these days.
