Cowon i10 won't play tracks continuously.

I received my i10 yesterday and have successfully uploaded my music library on to it.
However,whereas yesterday, the device was working fine and played songs back normally, today it has changed to just playing one song and then stopping playback.
In the bottom corner, where the play mode is displayed, there is a '1' instead of the 'all' I remember from yesterday so I assume this is the problem although after searching the device for hours to find a way of solving this, I have had no luck.
Any help is appreciated,

Please don't feel like an idiot - I have the same problem and I cannot solve it. Please explain how to solve it.....
