Android help needed (Music, games etc)
Hy there, all of you...
i just have got an android phone, (2.3.4 gingerbread), and i was thinking how should i be able to get the best of it... i hope this is the best place of asking this information... i have no experience with android based systems... my experience with it, until now: -i have spent few hours on google play (the new android market) -i have managed to install downloaded games for android (not downloaded from google play) -i have managed to get a very cute live wallpaper with a steampunk android what i am looking for -what else should i be able to do with it? -what are rooting, and modding, what do i get, and how is this going to improove my phone -how in the world, should i be able to improove music play, (i cannot even use eq) -what other cools stuff should i be able to do with a an android based phone (i have done my own research around the internet, but i cannot seem to get to a conclusion, this is my 1st smartphone ever, and i am not really the best at linux, what is the base of android) (from my research around the internet, i have not found pretty much things, as people are only discussing about mods, and not what they actually do, i am unable to understand from any source, why to mod, and things like this) (please, help me if you can, i have already spent over 50 hours of search on the internet, and reading forums, without getting to a clue) my phone model is lg p690... it is optimus net (it can play doodle god, and angry birds, without any problem, and without heating, it has 800mhz processor, and 500 mb RAM 500 ROM, or something like this) thanks in advance!...

Considering this forum is largely dedicated to Cowon devices rather than Android in general, I'd have to recommend seeking out a forum more specifically devoted to Android devices. Two that I've used are phandroid.com and droidforum.net.
Not saying you won't find advice and helpful folks here, just...to me it would make more sense to go someplace more specifically intended for your concerns. But I'm sure the folks here will help out if they can!

Check out AppBrain. That site may help you find stuff you like. The most popular programs may give you an idea of what other people use their smartphones for.

For me being able to use Titanium Backup to...shockingly...backup my phone was a pretty good reason to root it. If you have a device that TiBU isn't compatible with or that has a different option though, I suppose that wouldn't apply.

What about Odin as a backup and everything else about rooting program?

this came into my mind... on my actual android device, i don't have flash player, and cannot install it...
if i root it (wich seems HARD), but i will not flash it with something, should i be able to install flash?... also, i am interested in risks of rooting / installing roms / overclocking... untill now, my search, has gone into xda forums, now i will start to read other forums too,,,

Yeah, I think you'd really be better off dealing with a more specialized forum. There's a lot of variables involved with routing. I used to be able to one-click root my phone via an app, but after firmware upgrades it's gotten a lot more complicated.
Pretty sure my Droid X has flash, though I haven't looked recently, heh.

so... android is a very interesting thing... well... after about 2-3 days of working with it, i figured out, how to take advantage of all of a phone's memory, read only memory, and processor, without overclocking... in fact, it is pretty simple
