I just got an X7 and am trying to use it with Ubuntu Narwhal. When I connect with USB, I can only access the Flash. When I go into Disk Utilities both drives are there as peripherals but the hdd does not mount. I'm new to both products so any amount of help will greatly help. Thanks.

I don't remember where I found this but you need to switch your x7 to mass storage class mode (MSC). To do this, go to your settings and select system. Then find the 'usb mode' and select MSC. after you enabled the correct mode, power off the device and plug it in. ubuntu should recognize the hdd now
