Default Where are the preset settings stored?

Hi there.

I was wondering where are the audio presets (along with the BBE settings) stored and other settings as brightness, timer, etc?

I am asking since I just converted my D2 to D2+ and naturally all the settings are reset to default. I have a backup of all D2's files, but I'm not sure which file should I use (I'm not even sure if it's possible to just copy and paste the file since I now have a D2+ and the files might not be compatible).

Thank you.

EDIT: I guess the file is "PARAM.cfg" under the SYSTEM folder...can I just copy and paste it over the new one (the file was on a D2 3.57 FW and now I have a D2+ 3.14)

I think you are right about "param.cfg". But I doubt if anybody outside Cowon could confirm that the data structures of D2 and D2+ are identical.
I would just try it!

param.cfg file is firmware dependant (you can see it in the file header), so you can't just copy-paste it from one device to another with different firmware.

Yep, you must be right.
I opened param.cfg and the only human readable part (with notepad) is the first few characters that indicate the firmware.
I tried doing a "cheap editing" changing this text with the corresponding FW installed on the player and then copying it but obviously it didn't work (I was sure it would't work but tried it anyway).
