Haven't tried it yet, but is there a way to present album art in "maximum size", using as much portrait mode area as possible?

Aero has an issue where the only way to show the full-size album art is to be in "even simpler" tracker mode, to eliminate the obstructions and overlays that otherwise will be on top of the bottom of the album art. I don't have a problem with "even simpler" because it's clean and simple, it just doesn't have any track time elapsed/duration values shown but only uses the thin white progress gauge line (which again, is fine by me).

If the tracker and information area at the bottom of the screen in Aero were moved down somewhat (i.e. made somewhat less tall), then the entire bottom edge of the full-size album art would be visible.

Is this issue addressed in Sense... at least perhaps as one user-option? I really enjoy looking at my full-size album art, as big as it can be, and as unobstructed as it can be.

Also, I had commented on Aero that the "tracklist preview" feature which is so useful can only be gotten to through multiple clicks, starting from the Menu. And then you have to exit out of it, to get back to the regular player presentation.

Does Sense provide a "1-click" always-on-screen "tracklist preview" button (say added to the bottom player control bar, as a fourth control)? If not, could it?

NOTE: I had mentioned previously that there seemed to be a bug with Aero in that when you tapped on a track in "tracklist preview" it did not start playing as I thought it was supposed to do. Has that issue been addressed in Aero? In Sense? Or was it just me, and something I was doing incorrectly that failed to cause the tapped track to start playing?

Sense always shows album art at its full size.

In Sense you start track preview by holding the browser button.
It is also possible to swap browser and track preview so that track preview is started when you tap the button, and the browser is started when you hold it.

I guess I formulated the option unclearly in Aero Music.
It only controls if you have to tap a track once or twice in order to open it. As long as the player is paused, the track won't be played.

But it's a good idea for a new option in Sense.

I have a suggestion (hopefully...):

Is it possible to have an option to have a static image loaded instead of displaying
the album art (whether it's in the folder/embedded in the audio file)?

I'm not really a fan of looking at album art. Especially the retarded album art that
some artists felt the need to do. I went into System/Music DB and changed all the images
there into the Black cover.jpg from your Aero setup to get rid of most of them (though a
few still appear now and again) and would rather have an option to disable album art
altogether (and just have a custom image loaded instead). I'm thinking it'd be hard (hope
not) to do but it would be a nice feature to have for the few (or probably just me) who
don't wanna look at album art all the time.

Edit: After you load up Sense (and after several songs have played/skipped), if you swipe the
bar above the track length bar (where the Title/Artist/Album text appears) and your finger runs
off the side of the player (J3), the bar moves as far as your finger was able to move it. You can
move it until it completely disappears. Also, when the 'next track' screen appears with the title
of the next song, if you keep swiping in the same direction it does the same thing, slowly (or
quickly) moving off the screen of the player.

It could be intentional, or it could be a bug (considering it's Beta). So, there ya go!

Edit: I'll be able to take a picture or two (maybe even a video) later today. I'll see about
getting that uploaded if I get the chance.

Nahlidge:

Thanks for your suggestion, I'll add it in the next release.

I consider it a not-implemented features (the check if you can move it the direction you're sliding to).

But since the bar slides back in that case, I don't think it bothers anyone.

Looking very good, Kizune.
Thanks for yet another quality UCI.

Hoping that a full version and a coverflow-plugin is coming soon.

marnix:

I think the ETA of the final release is in one week, maybe two.
But since I'm very motivated ATM, I'm pretty sure the full version will be finished in one week.

briant1234:

Indeed, this is the secret project.
I started to work on it immediately after the first release of Lynx and worked on it at the same time as on Vision.

Anyway, I like the current name.
