Hi,
I've recently formatted the player on windows 7. It deleted the system folder so I had to create /System/Flash UI... Whenever I add UCIs on Flash UI dir nothing happens. Same goes with fonts, adding them on the system folder and setting the player to use user font does nothing, the type reverts to system font. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks |

If you had to reformat your J3, the firmware should have automatically recreated the folders when you first turned it on. The Windows 7 format command does work on the flash memory, but some people download and use a Panasonic SD formatter program. You MUST format it to the FAT32 system, preferably with 32k clusters, as the device doesn't understand NTFS.
Using the instructions I posted in another thread http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/sh...42&postcount=3 you should be able to change the font, but you cannot change the size (it is fixed). I've change my font to Century Gothic and it looks great, but the clock can't display the numbers properly on the settings page as they are a bit too wide. Everywhere else it looks fine though. Can you add mp3 files to the internal memory without problems? If you can't add UCIs, then it sound like the memory is not formatted properly. Try using the Pansonic formatter from http://panasonic.jp/support/global/c...oad/index.html and/or do a factory reset from the settings menu. |
