* Go to browser
* Open a folder of music that interests us * Press the "+ fav" will turn red * Add songs (up to 256) * After choosing the songs, press again "+ fav"to deactivate * When you disable "+ fav" we are allowed to navigate to other folders to add other songs. * Once the selection has been completed, and being in the browser, not in the playback screen, click on the name of the folder and will have 3 options: LIBRARY FAVORITES BOOKMARKS Simply enter "FAVORITES" and there you will find the list we've created. |

Yeah, okay... that's the usual way to add songs to the fave list on the S9, J3 and X7. But why did you post this here?

Ummm, why not?
Some of us a) have not owned or used a Cowon device before, b) are struggling/have struggled with the less than crystal clear instructions supplied with the X7 and c) may not be aware that this method is common to all the 3 players you list. In which case, this is a useful post for us. If it helps one reader, it's worth posting. |

edit: Oh I figured it out. You need to tweak your FAQ a bit. First of all this only seems to work when music is actually playing. Secondly when you say "click on the name of the folder" it didn't quit make sense at first. If you say something like the large font header folder name it'd be easier for people to figure out. Anyway a couple of follow up questions. Is there anyway to make more than one? (Doesn't seem like there is) Is there a way to extract the favorites on a computer? Sorry for the late reply. It isn't necessary that you have used a Cowon product before, just read the manual and you know how to use the fave list. X7 manual -> Page 17 -> 8 and X7 manual -> Page 26 -> 4 Hotobu: "Is there anyway to make more than one? (Doesn't seem like there is)" I have created a UCI, Aero Music, for Cowon S9 and J3. I'm not sure if it works on the X7, but it's worth a try. "Is there a way to extract the favorites on a computer?" No, there isn't, unfortunately.

Hi, there!
Aero Music works on the X7 as long as you leave all settings concerning landscape-mode alone! |
