Default To mac users:

FIRST, A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
There have been numerous problems relating to the s9 working with a mac, mostly relating to the damn thing bricking whenever it is unplugged, even if it was ejected first. As far as I can tell this is nothing more arcane than the S9 not speaking mac, as it were: the computer thinks it has ejected the device, but the S9 does not register this. Note the fact that it still displays the 'connected' screen. Therefore, and not to tempt fate, what one seems to have to do is as follows:

1) Eject the S9 in the usual way (either alt. click/eject or drag the icon over the trash)

2) Power off the mac.

3) Wait for the S9 to turn itself off

4) Unplug the S9. It should be fine. if it is not I apologise, my bad.

IN OTHER NEWS

Has anyone found a decent program for mac os that will write album art / tag music files so that they can be read by the S9? I'm struggling here.

Cheers people.
