Default Play all songs in a directory and its subdirectories

Is it possible to play all media files within a directory (for example "music" with several subdirectories), but not from another directory (for example "podcasts" or "songs I only need when I'm listening to the complete album")? This was possible with the iAudio X5 by clicking on the folder and then choosing "play folder". Is anything like this possible with the D2+, too?

Another Question: Is there any possibility to include files from the internal memory and from an SD card in the same playlist? What should such a playlist look like?

Thank you!

yep it should be possible, just put your playback option to "FOLDER" mode not "ALL".
Have at least one music file in The Music folder (mp3... whatever) besides the folders.

My music is all organized in folders but I keep the Iaudio Friend & lovers from Jack lee in the Music folder. Play it .. and the next track will be the following on in the next folder. I use it especially when I'd like to play my music, and just my music, in Shuffle. All my audio-books are in another folder than MUSIC (Audible for example).

Edit: For incorporating both SD Card and on-board flash memory files in a playlist:
I guess you are in MTP Mode if u use Playlist. I use a quite simple way to do a keep my playlists..
In Windows explorer open your Cowon you will see Internal Storage and External Storage start where ever u want it doesn't matter
Right-Click on one music file and select Create playlist ( a playlist will be created in that directory "Newplaylist.pla")
You can rename it and move it to the "playlist" folder if you want, and also open it by double clicking.
now it is time for you to browse through your D2 and drag n drop music file in the playlist windows either files from the internal or external storage.
When you are done. save and exit.

Tada.....!!

I know i may not explain it really nicely. but I know somebody else covered that MTP playlist thingy. But the DPL idea also is simple and doable from your D2 without connecting to a cpu

It will not play sub-directories the way you are describing.

I believe it is, but there is a setup method with the SD card you must be aware of. That being that you must create the same directory names on the SD card as are present in the player itself, so as to create assimilation.

It's best just to use actual directories as opposed to playlists. There is an option called dpl, which is a dynamic playlist you can create by choosing individual tracks as a means of creating a custom directory.
