Default Resized Games for J3.

I Want to create a Pack with all working and interesting games and applications for our PMP.

Currently I am testing all Da1winter Pack games. Im doing a kind of selection of the best games.
Maybe you would like a game that I won't put here,so I recommend download Da1winter Packs.

Whenever I find a cool game/app I will try to fit it to S9/J3 Screen. Some doesnt even need to resize.
If you have any real good game/app ,that isn't resized, please post it here and I will see what I can do.

Updating thread whenever I add something.

Hey, cool!

I still don't have my J3

But a game popped up off the top of my head - Gemcraft.

Here's the link:

[Note, some minor features exclusive to ArmorGames only]

http://armorgames.com/play/1716/gemcraft

EDIT: This game also requires a save file. I don't know if the J3 supports some kind of cache that allows flash games to create cache save files to do so.

Funny to ask about this game. I Already tried to resize it before you ask.
Tried again today, but this game is large and complex.
I Got everything resized but it doesnt start. It froze my J3 :/

Don't expect heavy and complex games to run.
There are many simple but funny games over the web. (Check the Idiot Test that I Resized).

Flow is an awesome game. I was able to extract it from their website to my S9 and it works really good exept for the fact that the background is all black and I cant see the directions and stuff. I dont know if this is out of your knowledge but at least take a look at it! http://intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/core.html

EDIT: Some other nice games:
Double Wires
Pong
Blocky

If there is a blockbreaker that wont be laggy on a J3 or S9 it would be awesome.

EDIT2: Squares 2

I Don't think we can play this flow.
It seems its 'locked'. The flash files can't load files that makes the game(blue screen, units moving...). Even the PC Download version, we need the .exe. Only the flash file we get half game.

I Can just get a flowing thing moving on a black screen. Without any thing to interact with.

I was trying here some frogger game, but this time got a bad resize response.
Going to check those other 3 games you mentioned.

Edit:
Double Wires Fail. The dummy disappears.
Pong Fail. The ball goes off the screen.
Blocky Fail. Blocks too big, dont know how to resize. But without resizing this game works well, just a bit laggy.(Couldnt unlag it.)

Squares 2 WORKS! I Advice to play it without sound, because there are some noise when playing. But it works good
Download it on the first post.

Cool, you're updating the thread to add new games ^^

Just a noob question, if I just extracted the .swf of a flash game and resized it by converting it using Format Factory, that would epic fail right :L

FormatFactory is for Audio & Video editing,I Think.

To Resize Flash Games you need the .fla file(Its like the source code of the .swf). Then resize each frame.
For that you need Flash Decompiler Trilix[Free] and Adobe Flash CS.
Later I can make a tutorial of how to make it.

For now I want more games for resizing

There must be tones of games for S9. These games don't work directly for J3? Is this the reason they must be resized?

Thank you for the explanation

Naww, I meant, when you convert files in Format Factory you can choose the size, so you can make it 480x272 or something. So maaaybe, just a theory, you could download the .swf of the game, then convert the .swf to a smaller size? I would test it but I don't have a J3 to test it on =/ I'll go download a .swf game now, resize it via Format Factory, and see how it goes and post my findings.

-Justin

EDIT: Haha, failed. Looks like normal video converter programs can't decode .swf game .swf files :L I guess the only way to do it is to actually resize frames then. Say, is it really only as simple as resizing all the frames? Or are there more steps to it? I could go and give it a try since I have Flash on my laptop haha.

No.
All games and aplications for Cowon S9 works on J3.
But those games don't fit fullscreen on S9 and J3. Sometimes its really hard to press something when the button is to small.

If you get any small .swf file and put it on your device it will run ,but most on a smaller screen.
To fill each pixel I have to resize every frame of a flash game. Most of them are much bigger than 480x272.
Okay, there are 3 kinds of games that I Found:

The one that works - Its quite simple, just resize frame by frame. Some games are like 4 Frames(e.g. intro, menu, play, end) , others are boring to do but easy(e.g. Idiot Test, 50 Frames to resize).

Image Resized, but Triggers and script not - Thats when you resize everything, but when you play there are many bugs, issues. Thats because the script still thinking that the game is bigger(e.g. Pong, ball goes off the screen. Frogger, the frog starts out of screen, and dies on water when you are on street.)

Hard to Resize and Complex Game - Those are the bigger games, and complex. Game File size more than 1Mb. There are games that we have only few frames, but the main frame is like all the game(e.g. mini golf game, all map and games areas on the same frame.)
Other you will resize but it won't play, because they use Flash Player greater than 7. Every game on this section will mostly freeze your player

I Hope you guys get the message, don't know too much of English.
and
Send me games !

Hi there these games dont really need resizing , I deleted the sound files from them so that they run much smoother.
Here ya go
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y7XCZWTT (copter)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DT4AT8BX (gold miner)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=S9XOUFID (marbles)

In return would anyone be able to change the controls on this game so that one of the up/down arrows is the fire button? Right now it the spacebar so you cant fire in game , but other than that it runs fine.

@Tirim

Here are some versions that i found and fiddled with to make them run faster

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O06W51WL (version 1)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N3QLIF65 (
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HL1LOCIL
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VW0SX33J (similar to block breaker but with a seesaw )

If u dont like any of those theres a whole page devoted to blockbreaker games here http://www.1980-games.com/us/action-...ck-breaker.php, as well as a bunch of other good ones.
