Hi
My laptop gets as far as opening the window to show the folders of the A3 once connected via USB, it then either lets me access the first folder, or letting me into a couple before it shows not responding. I have firmware version 1.34 and have tried downgrading to the 15,27,31 and 33 with no fix. I have also tried different usb leads and ports. I have also tried the scan and fix errors checkbox. It has worked fine once out of about 30 attempts, and even then crashed after 20 mins. I also deleted files so there is at least 8g free space. Please advise on what else I can try and what possible causes may be. Cowon replied to me with "Thank you for using COWON A3. I am sorry to tell you that COWON A3 is not supported by Windows 7 officially" Funny thing is, my A2 works fine when connected to laptop? |

I have the same problem (sometimes it works for few files but always crash after a while)....and got fed up !!
The solution maybe to run a virtual XP in windows 7 if you have the ultimate version...but after two and a half years of use of my A3, I have the same issue even in XP (but much less) Too bad |

May be power surge issue on the laptop? try connecting the A3 into a home PC (with win 7)
