Hm, Sennheiser has some bluetooth headphones but they cost $250. I would rather get used to wired headphones instead of having to set up a profile, suffer worse sound quality and sound interference.

yeah, bluetooth wasnt made for audio transmission, my dad talked to the guy who leads the bluetooth team in Linux, and he said that they have to squeeze more out of the protocol to transfer audio.

I was actually thinking of getting the SE MW600 bluetooth headset and use it with my headphones that came with my old MWZ816B from Sony.

Still not a wise choice? Was thinking it would be great with wireless while Im out on my bike

edit:
Also, does anyone have any experience if the S9 supports change track/volume via the bluetooth headset?

For anyone thinking of going Bluetooth, with their S9 or their 'phone, I can't recommend the Sony HBH-DS200 or HBH-DS220 highly enough. The 220 is the same but with a better 2 button volume control rather than the single button ramp up and down control on the 200.

They are cheap, small, don't have flashing blue lights and sound amazing. I sometimes play mine through a proper hifi, you wouldn't know it's bluetooth. Don't use the supplied Sony phones, get some better ones or use your existing phones. If I remember rightly, you can get the S9 volume buttons to work by turning on or off the eq, I honestly can't remember which.

Later firmwares on the S9 downgraded the bluetooth bitrate unfortunately, so quality suffered. Even with early firmware on the S9, my WM 6.1 phone (HTC TD2) with tweaked bluetooth registry settings sounds a bit better. Both sound superb with the Sony though, very close to a wired connection, and I'm a fussy listener too. Just remember, later firmware isn't as good. I use 2.09 (I think) because of this.
