Hi,
I have the iAudio i9, and I wanted to know if it's possible to select a folder and play it? for example, if i have one folder with 3 sub-folders, and I want the play all the songs under the sub-folders in shuffle mode.. In my previous iAudio you could select a folder and choose Play Folder (or something like that), but I can't find the way to do it in i9.. |

Hi, yeah it's not as easy to do as the iAudio 7 but its still manageable. What i usually do is play a file from that sub-folder hold down the >// button and the menu pops up and i select the icon with a play button sign and a loop sign around that. This loads the playback options give you three icons, one for repeat, the other for playback range and the other for shuffle. Using a little common sense just set the range to folder and the shuffle on with repeat on, and hopefully that should do it. Hope this helps

I thought about that but won't that lead to just that specific sub-folder songs to be played? I want all songs under the sub-folders of their root folder to be played. The only way i can think of is to put a file directly under the root folder (same level as the sub-folders) and do as you said in your reply when playing that file, and then it will play the root folder and its sub-folder.. but it's a strange work around :-(

Maybe you could add the folder to favorites and go to favorites and press play.
