Default factory default I9

It seems that my player is a little messed up. A hole folder has disappeared and folders with the name i9 have appeared.
I would like start off form the beginning.

Is there a simple way to get to factory default?
and what will that do? will it return to the way it was when i bought it?

thanks

Default

You could first try "Load Defaults" from the "Settings" menu, might help.

otherwise....

You could format it (as FAT32)
That will wipe it of all it's contents apart from the default firmware folders and related firmware stuff.
