After a long time of enjoying my iaudio 7 it has now started to brake down on me. First the screen got a crack but its still ok. My big problem is my + volume button which no longer work! Why there is no software volume crammed in there with all other nifty effects still alludes me but this means that every time i accidently presses my - volume button i am one more press closer to bricking my audio since the volume goes down and cant get back up.
I do NOT want to open it. the screws are glued in and i dont want to destroy my beautiful machine. is there any other solution? Please help Jakkin Sweden |

My "+" volume button is broken too. I've started a support ticket with Cowon and I'll post the reply when I get it. One curious thing I did notice was that when I upgraded the bios to the latest version it set my volume back to lvl 13 so I can use it partially.

Just open the player and solder the little switch. It takes few minutes and after that the player is left as new.
I did it with mine. |
