I'm having a few problems with my new S9.
At first I put it in MTP mode, since my previous mp3 players have been MTP. I had no problems transferring music to it from songbird and winamp, but album art did not work for any tracks and windows explorer crashed whenever I tried to drag video files over. Switching it to MSC mode allows me to copy videos over and album art works (I didn't change the files at all, art just didnt show with MTP mode), however now I cant copy playlists over or create them from files on the device, both songbird and winamp crash when I try to (m3u playlists) Any suggestions? |

I'm gonna see what I can do tonight or tomorrow, but it should be pretty easy to take a Windows m3u and turn it into an m3u that will work on your S9.
This is pure spitballin', so, feel free to call me on it being false. Step 1. Drag and drop media to your S9's music folder Step 2. Make an M3U playlist as you would for listening in Windows. (Having it not be in WMP works a little easier.) Step 3. Open the M3U file with Notepad. Step 4. Use the replace function to replace the first set of each entry with '.\Music\_______\________\___.mp3. For example: #EXTINF:212,Brand New - Seventy Times 7 \Users\Hybrys\Music\Brand New\Your Favourite Weapon\09 Seventy Times 7.mp3 Find: \Users\Hybrys\ Replace With: .\ End result: #EXTINF:212,Brand New - Seventy Times 7 .\Music\Brand New\Your Favourite Weapon\09 Seventy Times 7.mp3 Step 5. Save and transfer said modified M3U file to the root folder of the S9. Check to make sure it doesn't add a .txt extension. |
