Confused When will rb 3.4 crazy time estimate get fixed?

The 200-250 hours playtime remaining estimates that the stable 3.4 and the daily builds show at full charge (more or less depending on what you set for battery capacity setting) is rather ridiculous. Anyone have a lead on when this annoyance will be corrected? The rockbox.org folks are kinda cryptic on it but its known issue.

3.4 sucks. mNot only that, but if you stop and play a song again, there will be a lot of white noise and static. I'm sticking with 3.2.

Huh. So THAT'S why I'm occasionally having that problem. Except it's not only when I pause, it happens sometimes when I first turn the player on. FLAC files seem to be the culprits, though it's not consistent.

So are there actual flyspray tasks you've opened for these problems, or are you just hoping they'll go away on their own?
