Hello,
I posted this over at anythingbutipod and they recommended I give it a try here as well. I am curious whether the cowon iAudio 9 has support for album art embedded in vorbis comments. Are such files being played at all (my current meizu m6 sl doesn't) and is the album art displayed? It isn't easy to find that specific info on any player, so maybe someone who has access to the iAudio 9 could give this a try. How does the i9 handle album art otherwise? By including a jpg in the album folder maybe? |

I do not use vorbis so I can't answer your question, but now I am curious, so I'll try it and let you know.
I use FLAC -- copy a whole album over, ripped Media Monkey, where the art is always a file called 'folder' stored in the same folder as the FLAC files. That's also the way I it on my i9 and the art displays. I have no idea how album art would be handled for the songs in a playlist. The i9 supposedly reads WMP 10 or 11 playlists, but I do not use that MS application at all. ETA: Nope, does not display the album art. I ripped a single song to OGG Q10, plays and displays album art in Media Monkey, only plays on the i9. Last edited by Oxide Blu; 11-21-2009 at 19:16.. |
