Hello D2ites out there, the D2 forum has had really low traffic lately, I hope some of you will read this.
I got my D2 and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the audio and video to be in sync. I mostly put youtube videos on my player. I tried the following ways: Download flv with Realplayer->convert using Super from breaking dawn Download flv with Reaplayer->convert using JetAudio bundled software that came with D2 Download flv and convert with Downloadhelper Results: In all cases the audio is a split second later than the video. I also tried decreasing the kbps, which did not help. I read one of the sticky here that someone posted concerning this issue, but I don't have the technical knowledge to understand how to use it. Could someone help me? Any help will be appreciated, Amy ![]() |

hey dude.... i used to have this issue with my former d2(now using d2+ and there is no problem with the a/v sync).
try this method: -download the youtube video u want with a program called videoget http://nuclear-coffee.com/ -download the video in divx format...put all the settings on "original" exept the size 320x240. -now take this video and convert it in jetAudio video converter... this configuration works for me perfectly .if this does not work send me a link to the video and ill check if there is something wrong with it ![]()

If those doesn't work, try the converters in the Video section of the D2 forum. I use the ILove or the MaxSt's Video Converter
If for some reason even these don't work you can try other converters List of Video Converters for the D2 or try switching your video retrieval/download program, like the one Dudia posted above. |

(Finally, 2 replies!) Thanks, I wish I bought the D2+ instead; I chose D2 because it looks better (bad choice
) If I convert D2 into D2+, do you think the problem will be solved?Videoget is not a freeware and I don't intend on spending money on it. I want to try MaxSt's video converter but don't know how to set up at all. For example, I am lost in the very first step: 1) Unzip the D2video.zip archive. 2) Put mencoder.exe in the same folder as as D2video.exe 3) To convert a video, drag-and-drop it into D2video.exe In case you don't know where to find mplayer/mencoder, the official build for windows is here (no GUI). Or you can try one of more current (and optimized) builds here.? ... What is D2video.exe??? Where can I find it???? Could someone kindly post a step-by-step setup and simple instruction on how to use it in layman language for me? I can't thank you enough ![]() |

I downloaded the MaxSt and put mplayer/mmcoder in the same folder. Then I dragged a flv file into D2video.exe. A black command box popped open but nothing happened (empty). I read the thread again and thought maybe I needed the pthreadGC2dll. Put it in there, now the command box is running lines but all the lines read this:
no pt value for demuxer to use for frame! Does it mean I have to enter some lines in the D2 video configuration setting file (do you guys call it the .ini file?)? Thanks in advance. |

I know, but I don't feel like paying 25 bucks when I can get others 4 free.

Hmm, how does your folder structure look like. It should appear like this: http://img14.imageshack.us/i/folderstructure.jpg
(minus the new folder) If problems still exists try ILove, it's drag and drop; and easier to use. |

Don't laugh but I tried to install iLove and had no idea how to do it. I abandoned that idea long ago.
I found a program called avidemux from another forum (which is so much more useful than this desolate forum, but I digress) that can allow me to manually shift the audio in miliseconds. After hours of trial and error, I finally figured out that my D2 for some reasons will automatically delay the audio by about 320ms. Now with Super to convert the aspect ratio to 4:3 for me, I have everything I need. MaxSt was a pain in the a** for me. Every time I open the folder, my CPU goes off the roof and the systerm freezes. I can't even delete it now; it's just sitting in my trash bin. If you have any idea on how to get rid of it, plz message me |

dude, iLove is a stand alone App. it doesn't need to be installed! just open the iLove.exe File within the iLove Folder.
