Default Touch theme for the D2

hi everyone, here's a theme i made for the d2
have fun etc

i'd love to hear suggestions if anyone has any
unfortunately you can't change the song rating on the wps, but i might implement that feature if i have time (and if i can figure out all the relevant source code)

the font is 19 point nimbus, but you can choose whatever you like obviously

also, it lacks a lot of checks (for ID3 tags and whatnot) which I still need to add

buttons:
cover - main menu
folder - browse
folder long - playlist
repeat toggle
repeat toggle long - shuffle toggle
star - quickscreen
star long - context menu

you can also use the progress bar to jump in a track, but that seems to be a bit buggy

Looking good! Gonna try it when I get home tonight.

Am I right in thinking this theme needs the Touchscreen Mode to be in 'Absolute Point' mode (instead of the default 3x3 grid) to work correctly?

that is correct, although you can still use it in grid mode of course

not every screen works in absolute point yet, so maybe we should make a touch screen page on the rockbox wiki with a todo-list

Looking good! I'll try it out later tonight...

I'm hoping to get the D2 added to the themes site (themes.rockbox.org) so that you can upload your themes and hopefully it will encourage others to get involved. Currently you can use any of the iPod Video (5G) themes on the site, but of course none of them are touch-enabled.

Well your theme seems to work nicely for me (much better than the touch-enabled Cabbie does, anyway!). Using the larger font also helps in navigating the menus, too, which is welcome.

I've committed a fix for the problem with seeking using the progress bar - wait for r22720 (it's not available yet as I type).

As for a wiki page, it's a great idea - I thought there already was one, but I can't find it right now

Great job!!!

a small plea... can you put format of file (MP3, FLAC, OGG... whatever) and bitrate?... that would make it the best music screen for me...

Instead of the song rating ... maybe some other users like it...

You have to change the "While Playing Screen" under theme settings.

Yeah that s what i did. I found that i didnt have a RB recent enough.
Now with latest build i got the theme BUT the "touch" doesnt work well. I cant find a way to "touch" the buttons.
I am in grid mode because when i choose absolute, i calibrate but after that touching the screen doesnt do a thing.
Any idea?
