Has anyone done this?
Plus will the s9's OS know that the files are missing? Thanks

I've never used the podcast ready folder. I'm not even sure how it works. I removed it and saved it to my external hard drive. I like to manage my podcasts manually.

A podcast is something like a talkshow, either video or mp3-format. Here.
Using the PodcastReady application that comes pre-loaded on the S9, you can subscribe to Podcasts (which has to be managed on the internet and took me some getting used to, but is now quite easy), and when you launch the application, it will check if there's any new episodes from your subscriptions and download them to your player. I'd think that deleting the folder won't cause you any issues as it's not integrated into the firmware as far as I can see. It's just a free app that comes with the S9 and the folders are only used by the software itself. I haven't tried it though.

I deleted it, that little podcast program that is installed on the S9 is complete trash.

Ok thanks guys. I'm going to back it up to the harddrive and then delete it!
