Cowon S9: Ceramic White

Today Cowon Korea have unveiled images of their new "Ceramic White" Cowon S9, that brings to 3 the amount of colour variations you, the consumer, can choose from between this new white one, the original "titanium" one and of course the easily scratched "black chrome" one.

Apart from this extra colour not much has changed since the last firmware release, but knowing Cowon I think we can expect a few more features to be added by firmware upgrade (bluetooth profiles maybe?) before this white model hits either the US or European (and further) markets.

Cowon S9 Nominated by T3magazine: Music Product of the Year

On a side note, much like AMP3's joyous nomination it appears that the Cowon S9 has been nominated under the category of "Music Product of the Year". This was posted in our forums by ryan5268 earlier in the week - in fact he posted the day I was going to put it on the front page, so damn you ryan for stealing my thunder! Get voting folks, it's open to every one.

Its totally a matter of personal taste. I havent really had the chanse to see any "S9 irl, but I think I'd go for the glossy black simply beacuse I have a thing for glossy black gadgets.

DAMN it when will it ever come out in the states?? I'm still waiting for that white one to come out here especially in 32gb...damn it cowon...and isn't it already available in uk?? if it is..that sucks...why there and korea...and not here? or is it?
