Default S9 Firmware 2.30

Firmware 2.30 (non beta)

Features

- Added to display the title of the music file on the screen when you start music in matrix browser.

- Improved displaying picture quality of album art in Music mode.

- Improved conducting speed when you play music.

- Added settings that you can choose sharpen or soften tone in Video mode.

- Fixed the error that resume functionality were occasionally not working.

- Fixed errors in UCI FSCommand 'EtcUsrSetString', 'EtcUsrGetString'.

Download here

One slight caveat: (as captain capslock mentioned,) bookmarks and favorites are deleted by this update, this could be troublesome for all those who listen to audiobooks etc.

Faster boot time it seems to me.
The whole interface seems faster. The video app when icons are showing times out almost too fast and goes back to full screen.

They finally fixed EtcUsrSetString/EtcUsrGetString command! I thought they'd never notice that it was returning data backwards

FINALLY!!!

But seriously, I would think that means faster loading times for selecting new songs and stuff, but considering the fact that this player doesn't seem to have that problem...it doesn't seem as though it would need a solution for it. Anyone else have any theories?

Hmm cool.

Was hoping they would improve the speed on the new cover flow though.

I seriously hate that you have to wait 1/2 seconds when having the player horizontally and dragging between all albums, you want to scroll fast.
