What is different about it, Ludd?

I think the colour change makes it pop out nicely from that toolbar. Compare it carefully to the original and I think it's much nicer.....isn't it?

The icons you're looking for are probably embedded in the built-in font. Like Wingdings or Webdings.

So, if someone can edit the font and change the color, we could get to those symbols.

Those are my 2¢

is there any new status in this direction? I thought there was a master thread for theme related stuff, but I can't seem to find it now.

Thank you pegahic, and thanks Jan_O2 for this thread.
So here's what I've been working on.
Still a bit more work to do, but it's getting there.

Very nice work, cOskO.

Cowon's UI "designers" should take notice of how to make the O2 look better.

Also, don't forget to post it when you're done. I agree, this theme looks awesome. I have black for most of my themes. This one is brushed darkened stainless steel. Really a great touch.

I also can hardly wait! Keep it up!

Yes, definitely won't forget. I will try to finish it by the end of this week, and I'll post it soon as I'm done.
Thanks for all the positive responses.

This theme seems to look good with any colour background, but I think I'll stay with the dark stainless steel for this theme.

"i cant find the .png files used for those placed marked with red circle."

Last time i looked into it, the extractor program don't extract that big image "control icons" after firmware version 1.29 or close to that.

Nice to see somebody at work on the O2.
and damm Cowon for that hardcoded font color.

I have just checked up on missing images "Control Icons"
now using gdkpex.exe on windows xp and on cOskO's theme player.o2
the images appeared at no. 44 !

I remember using a hex editor to dump and insert the raw bitmap data,
after been edited in Gimp. when i made the V1.29 "Theme"
