Default Can you get more memory on your Cowon S9?

Are you able to get more space and memory (so more room for songs) on your S9 without having to buy a new one? Is there a way of somehow upgrading your current S9 to get more space on it?
I am thinking of an external hdd/sd card reader? Will that work?So you see... we want the 32 gb one asap, that we all strange strange desire for more and more space..
Any one out there yet willing to open their S9 and dare to take some pics to share with us?Just to see whats inside...this mighty mp3/4player.
Who want to open it first? One at the time... slowly lol

Yes they both Different codecs. But are Wolfson as to which are better I think its a matter for ones own choice. I have both of them and I do prefer the sound of my s9 to my d2. Thats not say they sound because they don't. If your going to meshure them on price on them the d2 codec is more expensive. As for features they primly different.

You can browse

Cowon S9

Cowon D2

but I think the bigger question is why the hell dose the s9 codec with a speaker driver when the s9 has no built in speaker. It could possible be on its usb/ext.

As sound its up to you it personal.

If you mean "Separately mixed mono output" for a speaker, then it was just up to cowon to use it or not. It wouldn't have been worth listening to music through and would have required space and perforations in the case. I don't mind that they aren't using that feature.

Sort of that mixed mono out, is not on the btl circuit driver its a separate output. But if you look on the block diagram the two triangles (opa) at the bottom that's the speaker driver contained in a arrangement we call BTL (bridge-tied load) it's a type of bridge amplifier.

I agree with the case though just asking for dust. But they could of isolated a small box top and covered it was a gasket. There's a hell of a lot of room were the battery is.
