In accordance to the recent changes made in this sub forum I have updated almost all the catalogs and guides in this thread:

'Cassini designs web site' unofficial catalog - now includes his second important announcement.

'User created non flash themes thread' catalog - now includes Cassini's latest changes in the thread.

'D2 Themes, Tweaks and Anything Flash' Forum Guide - now includes Cassini's latest changes to the attached catalog, added a forth appendix with the available mediamonkey usage guides.

All downloads links are available in the first post.

Now, in addition to these updates, I'm trying to make A startup Logos Thread Catalog, and so far I think that the best way to do it is to just seriously clean all the garbage in it (garbage=posts without new startup logos or with non functional download links)! so please, can anyone do it???

I think making a startup logo catalog is extremely ambitious, the amount of rubbish is that thread is ridiculous, it will take you a long time.
Even so, the whole forum appreciates your work

In accordance to your sent suggestions, I'm Releasing Candidate Number three (RC3) of the final guide.
What was changed from the last version (RC2)?
'iReader by serious' topic now reflect the latest version.
'General guide content' with all available topics in the guide was added.
Some changes in design were made.
'Some D2+ questions Answered' topic had been added to the second chapter.
'D2 music management with mediamonkey' appendix was added.
Appendix I & II now retains their proper thread name to avoid confusion.
'Finished themes thread catalog'- now includes Cassini's latest changes.
'The End' title now added to the last page of the guide.
What is missing from the final release?
The same as last release.

Statement

the Guides/Catalogs/Index that I made are considered 'open source'. if you want to post them on other threads, translate them to other languages, write stuff yourselves in them, write your name in them, you may do so freely on two conditions:
A) You don't change any of the quoted instructions.
B) You preserve the credit given to those who wrote the instructions or made the tools/themes/skins/etc.

Quick (and basic) Questions and Answers for Starters regarding the D2+ can be found on post Number 3).

Thanks for doing such a good job of collating everything. There was a lot of stuff I didn't realise was there. It also makes me appreciate all the work from everyone that has gone into the player. I wish I'd seen your posts about unofficial dictionaries before I converted my dictionaries.

Default version RC4 of the Guide

Hallow you all,
I apologize for the late response; I have been away for a few days.
First, I would like to thank the three brave souls: Opc100, Andrewthecoder and Dalmane98 for your feedback on the 'Startup Logos Thread Catalog'. The project is scraped and I cleared over 800MB in my HD.
Second, I have added additional content to the guide:
The 'D2+ firmware on a D2' topic now includes (in addition to a new introduction to it) the following additional guides:
1) "How to Load D2+ Firmware in 8 Easy Steps on your Legacy D2"byDalmane98.
2) "Updating to D2+ firmware without using tcctool" by crashdebug.
3) "Multiboot modification" by crashdebug.
You can see them in post number 2.
A temporary opening topic to the guide, based on an edited version of Vampire666 "First steps after buying a D2" guide, was added. You can see it at the end of post number 3.
Book Marks on the three main indexes in the guide were added, enabling you to go to the index in a click of a button.

P.S
Vampire666, I haven't finished going through all your suggestion, I'll keep in touch. and THANK YOU SO MUCH.

GTS, I think you should but a quick bit in your guide about why the Legacy D2's are called that.
It's only a small thing, but it would help to stop some confusion for newer users.

Default Cowon D2 Themes Tweaks and Anything Flash Sub Forum Instruction Guide

I am happy to present before you the:

Cowon D2 Themes Tweaks and Anything Flash Sub Forum Instruction Guide

This is the final release, meaning it includes everything I initially intended to include in this guide and it provides a fair amount of information to answer most of your questions.

Unless there's a substantial amount, or significant, new material that demands the guide to be updated, no new releases will commence.

Because the final design of the guide is depended on a designer who is not me (and an extremely busy one at that) the true intended design might take a while.

I would greatly appreciate any comments on the guide (good or bad) in order to improve it in the future.

I uploaded along with the PDF file a Microsoft word 2007 Docx file version of the guide to be used as a source file for future editing by you in case I disappear from this forum.

Special recognition for vampire666 who was the inspiration for writing this guide. Not every day someone without the device (at the time) writes a guide about it for the benefit of all.

What could be added in the future (for example)?
Your suggestions.
Future new updates, firmwares, skins etc.
A design not made by amateur me.
A better and more comprehensive guide on installing various flash uci skins.
Startup Logos Thread Catalog.
Finished Flash Skins Catalog.
The skies are the limit …

What was changed from the last version (RC4)?
Opening guide topic "First steps after buying a D2/D2+" by Vampire666 and GTStriker is finished and added to the guide, replacing the former.
The 'D2+ firmware on a D2' topic in the index was expanded to include the additional guides in it.
Background for all the guide pages was added.
The cassini website catalog was added as an appendix V.
Various small design, grammar, spelling and links fixes.

Hello you all.
I'm releasing my first mini guide- a guide on a specific and small subject that is not yet fully completed or too small to be included in the full guide. Every five mini guides released I will upload an updated Cowon D2 Themes Tweaks and Anything Flash Sub Forum Instruction Guide with all of the mini guides included in him.The mini guide and its download link won't be posted on the three main posts of this thread (for now anyway).
The first mini guide is about the Ultimate MOD flash skin. Please post me on any comments about the instructions in it.

Recent updates to the Sub Forum Guide made him Huge (above 200 pages), and even the PDF format became lagging. I therefore decided to split the guide in to two volumes. Volume II will contain all the hefty catalogs (Themes, Flash Skins, and Cassini's work) that were removed from the appendix section of volume one (the original full guide).
Separate catalogs will no longer be available; they are now all under volume II of the Sub Forum Guide.
What was changed/added/updated? - Volume I
Themes and Cassini's work appendixes removed.
Firmware tablet now added to the appendix.
What was changed/added/updated? - Volume II
Themes catalog now includes all the themes created up to today.
Flash skins Catalog now created.
Cassini's web Site Design Catalog was redesigned and now includes his latest creations.
