Did it start out in Korean and you had to blindly find your way to the language settings? Was it easy to get english set up?

Installed on my player fine. Updated etc...and I didn't have to find my way around in Korean. I had a Korean colleague at hand just in case, but all the settings are in English.

My music is still there after the upgrade, when pushing the top right button (cartoon-talk-balloon-thing) on the main menu I just go to a black screen (haven't got widget.swf maybe that's the problem), I've got to turn of the player and restart. I also suddenly DO get a Dic icon which'll give a screen when pushed but it froze immediatly. Also, Claw's modification of the music screen isn't working anymore.

I'd do the install with a naked UI file. That widget.swf file isn't needed for this install. That is/was part of another UI? You need to load the Dic. files as well. If you want Korean of course.

The OE 'widget' screen works fine with a clean install.

Glad to hear cowon is doing a massive upgrade with the firmware.

Even happier that cowon is adding more codec support, but who honestly still uses wmv7 or wmv8?

I'm hoping that aac and h264 are added into the next firmware.

Ok, for some strange reason when I lock the screen the skip track button doesnt work until the screen goes black. Not sure whats going on there, anyone else notice this? So far this update is running alot smoother though.

When I remove all files from the Flash UI folder the widget page does indeed work. Though it's completely useless for me right now, I mean, it can display a clock and some other stuff that's not usefull at all or is unavailable in the normal menu.

I simply installed - kept all my previous language/region settings and none of the content was wiped off. The 2 custom themes I had still worked and had to be removed to get to the widgets menu though.

Default works great

Just upgraded to firmware V1.10b works very well with lots of additions, noticed the Gsensor is faster too.

The menus the wallpaper shows on are the Music, Radio, I think Recording, and Main Menu. Browser, Settings, Video, Text, and Pictures do not have backgrounds.
