D2 Firmware and SD questions.

Hi there, I got a D2 8gb and some questions:
- Whats the difference between frimwares 2.5* and 3.5*, and whats a DAB frimware?
- Will a 32gb SD/SDHC card work properly on my 8gb player? sorry for the "one-lined" writing, its written from a dumb mobile phone. tnx
