^For that it would need flash lite 3.0. D2 is currently using 2.1 (?).
I see no reason why the wouldnt implement 30.0 except for lazyness.

^That is possible in flash lite 3.0, D2 is currently using 2.1 (?).
The only reason not to implement this seems to be lazyness...

Default Flash Player on D2

I just got my D2 yesterday, and love it so far. I think I got my co-worker hooked on maybe getting one too.

But as a new user, I have questions.

The Flash Player on there, will it play .flv videos that i have on my PC, or that I grab with Firefox from like YouTube?

I put on 2 videos in the FLASH folder on the D2, but they are not seen to be played.

I am using the latest firmware 2.57.

Thanks for any help that you can offer!

no, the D2 can't play .flv based videos. i believe you can convert them using iLove (not sure on this)

Download Here

since you love the D2 you'll love Flash Skins you'll need Firmware 3.57 to use them.

It is mainly used for flash skin's (fw 3.XX only) that change the appearance and sometimes functionality of the now playing screen, or little flash lite aps, mostly homebrew games. Those can be had here.

glad ur loving the D2!

EDIT:!!!

the flash player your talking about isn't responsible for flash skins, the overall flash capabilitys are,
sorry!
