Well $24.50 is not a lot of $$$. So check it out for yourself...After all they are your ears and how it sounds to you is all that counts...
If you do not like it I am sure you will have no trouble selling it... Just my 2¢'s worth.

god damn it...I'll have to wait a month or two for some more cash, because I need a spear for upcoming wushu comps ($30...about the same + shipping for the glorious E5).
the hard part is whether it will make much of a difference on the D2 as it's said to be less bottom-heavy (which was actually the best part with the E3 + D2). The good point though is that the hiss is less evident, at least as far as I've read. Hopefully it's at least somewhat warm.
