Default Will this video work?

Please download this small clip and try. If it works please let me now. It is a clip that i have capped with my dvb-t box.
If it plays nicely, will it also play on the A3?

I tried to play it on the O2 and it won't play with the.ts extension at all. I tried to rename it to an .mpg and it says 'unsupported codec'.

If you play it on the computer, it works just fine with Cowon's JetAudio media player, so there's a chance it will work on a Cowon portable player, but not yet on the O2. Hope this helps you out

Did you mean that it shouldnīt work on A3 either? Because keal says it doesnīt work on the O2. If there is a user with an A3 reading this, please try this out.

Thanks

Too bad it doesnīt then. It plays on archos 5. Donīt know which plug-ins i have to buy though. I really wanted to buy my next player from Cowon. I had D2 then Archos 605... From what iīve heard the quality control and firmware still sucks for the 5.
Is there any chance they will add that feature in a near future? Any guess is as good as another guess, i guess!

Maybe if keal could try and use the .avi extension it might work?

After replacing the extension with .avi the O2 says 'wrong file format' and with the extension .mpg it says 'codec not supported'

guess it won't play...

Poo!
Maybe it doesnīt support mpeg2 at all?
Does the A3 support it? I will look into some way of decoding it. But i really donīt like that extra job. The O2 is not available here in sweden yet. But itīll probably cost 3000 SEK (8Gb). Thats like 251GBP. Almost the same as A3 and A5. Tough decision.

I'll give it a shot. You can probably convert it with the JetAudio software or something else to a format the O2 will support. O2 specs don't mention .ts support as far as I can recall.

It didnīt turn out well, my comp frooze and nothing happend. But it could play it fine.
Can someone try to convert it to O2 profile? Maybe itīs my comp... Probably not but hey, it just might work.
