I recently bought a pair of Yuin PK3's based on the good things I heard about them. Love these headphones, they sound wonderful with my D2, and I could not be happier.
The other day, however, I had the misfortune of leaving them in my car overnight/day. The issue is that it was very very hot that day, around 97 98 degrees F all day. Now they have a buzz in the left ear when heavy bass hits. This was not there before, so I think I have ruined my beautiful headphones... Has anyone done this, or does anyone know if heat will ruin your phones? Any advice would be helpful thanks! |

Hmm. Buzzing usually occurs when there's something touching the diaphragm of the driver; in other words the thin metal disk that is the speaker when you open the thing up. All I know is that my PK3's freaked out when I had a soldering accident, but if it hasn't been too long just RMA it and just say that the left side started buzzing on you. Being from AZ I know how you feel. Smaller headphones seem to be more prone to this, as well.
