Ok, I've been looking through the forums for any related problems to mine and I've found some that are and some that aren't. Just updated to 2.57 and have had to redo firmware 6 times since then (no exaggeration). After starting the player, a no music message comes on. I turn it off and restart to check. Now the music is back, but after one song, it freezes. I'm thinking the card, but not sure. This is getting tiresome and I'm curious if anyone has a fix to this.

Sounds like a tagging problem. No pun intended.
I would check your ID3 tags. It only takes a couple of bad ones to cause problems. Mp3tag is a good program and it is free. FW 2.57 is a real stable release. One of the best IMO.

Thanks, I'm going to try that and hopefully fix this.
