I recently picked up a Cowon D2 and I'm having a problem with it. The player is showing up as a portable device and WinXP recognized it as a Cowon D2, so I'm able to add files that way through My Computer in the 'Other' section, but it's not being assigned a drive letter and not showing up as removable storage. In addition, Jetaudio or Jetshell do not recognize that the player is connected.
I searched the forum a bit before posting and couldn't find anyone having this problem. Can anyone help me out with this? It's running Firmware 2.51. Thanks! |

Try changing from the MTP mode to the MSC mode.
Settings > System > USB connections.
